Overuse injuries are the most common causes of pain in your neck and shoulder, from neck strains, to tension headaches to rotator cuff strains or shoulder impingement. These overuse injuries can be associated with sitting at a desk all day or general lack of stability and mobility at the shoulder joint.

Tennis elbow or golfer's elbow sound familiar? Don’t let the names fool you, you can be a volleyball player or just over did in the yard one day and get the same injury. These are just a couple of names for elbow pain or epicondylalgia. Pain at your elbow is usually attributed to overuse injury related to muscular imbalances occurring above and below the injury spot.

Your spine can be complex and can be the cause of a lot of pain. There are a lot of different diagnoses associated with back pain. Lumbar stenosis or arthritis, lumbar strain, muscular strain, herniated or bulging discs, nerve compression or sciatica are the most common we treat. Your back is made up of your cervical, thoracic, lumbar vertebrae and sacrum, so when determining the root cause of your pain, we look at it all!

Runners or athletes will complain of hip pain when increasing their activity levels. However you could also wake up one day with random hip pain. Most of the time pain in your hip is associated with a muscular strain or general tightness. ITband syndrome, piriformis syndrome, hip impingement and labral tears are other diagnoses we treat.

Knee pain is a very common complaint and can be very debilitating. The most common injuries we see are muscular strains, tendonitis, bursitis, arthritis, MCL/LCL strain, ACL tear and meniscus tears. Ligamentous injuries are usually associated with trauma like a fall or collision during a sporting event. Muscular strains, arthritis, or tendonitis are the most common overuse injuries. For ACL tears, we offer our ACL Success Program that incorporates return-to-sport training with Olympia Fitness + Performance. + Knee Injuries

Tendinitis, Sprain, Patella-femoral Pain Syndrome, Mensicus Tears/Repair, Knee Sprain, ACL Tear, IT-band Syndrome, Patellar Tendinitis, Hamstring Strain.


2 of the most common diagnoses at the ankle and foot are sprains and tendonitis. There are a lot of “itis” at the ankle and foot- plantar fasciitis, achilles tendonitis, peroneal tendonitis, posterior tibial tendonitis, flexor hallucis longus tendonitis. If it is not an overuse injury, it can be acute trauma like a fracture or subluxation.
