TeleHealth- TeleMedicine- TelePHYSIO- Virtual PT- RemoteREHAB- are all terms to describe physical therapy services provided virtually to you at home or work.

How Does it Work?

It is simple. We will set up a time that works best for you and choose a platform that works best for you! Zoom, facetime or skype are the most common right now.

We can not only treat you but we can complete a full assessment by looking at the way you stand, sit and move. You don’t need any equipment, just your body.

What our patients are saying about their virtual sessions!

I completed my first telemed therapy ever, with Amanda.   We were in the middle of a protocol when the C - 19 restricted our contact at her office.

The exercises she was prescribing for me were more intricate and complex compared to previous orthopedic treatments, and required substantial supervision to learn and perform correctly.  I was initially progressing at home and was very disappointed when I had to delay our schedule.   She suggested the long distance venue, and although I was uncertain about how carefully we could work, I found it to be remarkably successful.   The key factor was not simply that she is very good, but that she can tell exactly what you are doing with one muscle, internally, by observing the changing position in other parts of your body that are more visible. This was particularly important with several of the challenging  exercises in my particular regimen.  Such a session just has to be demanding with an on screen image, but she was at ease with it, and she was accurate.

The result is that I will continue to progress, instead of losing an unpredictable amount of time.   I would encourage anyone else to give this a try if circumstances make it difficult to visit her office.

If anyone is asking themselves if you can get an effective physical therapy session in virtually, the answer is yes.  Due to a recent forearm injury I decided to set up a virtual PT session with Amanda to ensure I was taking the correct steps to healing.

I was impressed that Amanda was able to diagnose my injury and give me a list of steps to heal faster, as if I went into her office.  She was also able to seamlessly walk me through an array of new exercises from the routine she provided me for my back issue.  I can honestly say that this virtual session was exactly what I needed and is going to allow me to continue my road to recovery.

Stop second guessing if your virtual session will be the same as your in-office experience.  I promise you Amanda will be able to provide the same amount of professionalism, knowledge, and problem solving to help you heal.
